Aly Carr
Instructor
Ms. Aly is a former dancer, who started dancing with and under the direction of a number of other Powerworx teachers at the age of 5. She joined the competition team when she was in second grade and competed until she graduated from high school, performing with nationally recognized groups.
After graduating, Ms. Aly attended the University of Virginia where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in History with a minor in Religious Studies and a
Master’s of Teaching in Social Science Secondary Education. She currently works as a high school teacher at Independence High School in Loudoun County teaching World History and U.S. History.
