At PowerWorx, we believe that competition is one of the most effective ways to build skill, determination, and leadership.  The PowerWorx Competition Team is an intensive dance program for students who excel and thrive in a more competitive dance atmosphere.  The program requires a disciplined, hard-working dancer who is willing to devote many hours to work on technical skill in a team environment.  It is for the dancer who is interested in performing, competing and improving themselves in a wide range of dance styles.

PowerWorx is currently fielding two competitive teams.

• A Ballet-based team that competes in Lyrical, Jazz, Open/Contemporary and Tap on Regional and National levels.
• A Hip Hop team that adheres to the All Star USASF guidelines.

While the styles may differ, both programs require the same level of dedication, training and technique.
