Geralyn Ward is from the Washington, DC area. Geralyn has been teaching dance for over thirty five years, and has won choreography, overall, and high score awards at many regional, national, and world competitions. After growing up in the Pittsburgh, Pa. area, as a competitive dance student, she attended the University of Georgia, and George Mason University where she majored in dance, and performed with their dance companies. Her students have gone on to perform on Broadway, cruise ships, appear in music videos, teach, judge, and direct various dance competitions. She teaches all ages, and styles of dance, and is a judge on the regional and national dance competition circuit. Most recently her students and choreography performed in New York City and Walt Disney World. She was awarded Favorite Dance Instructor 2018 in Loudoun County Virginia by Loudoun Now. Her continuing love of children and passion for dance is what inspires her.
